TYPE: Tandem-seat biplane kitbuilt.

PROGRAMME: Announced at Sun 'n' Fun, April 2000, prototype then under construction.

CUSTOMERS: Orders for 12 kits and 18 sets of plans received by May 2000. Three completed by September 2003.

COSTS: Plans US$200; kit US$36,252 (2003).

DESIGN FEATURES: Based on First World War Sopwith Pup fighter, but using all-new materials. Quoted build time 3,500 hours.

STRUCTURE: Wood, fabric and tube construction. Biplane wings with interplane struts.

LANDING GEAR: Tailwheel type; fixed.

POWER PLANT: One VOKBM M-14P nine-cylinder radial derated to 179 kW (240 hp); engines in range 164 to 268 kW (220 to 360 hp) can be fitted. Fuel capacity 189 litres (50.0 US gallons; 41.7 Imp gallons).

ACCOMMODATION: Pilot and passenger in tandem in open cockpit.
