WACO CLASSIC AIRCRAFT CORPORATION

Waco Classic (known until 1997 as Classic Aircraft) delivers some five or six aircraft per year. It originated in 1983 at Lansing, Michigan, and acquired the Waco YMF-5 type certificate from FAA; manufacturing authority was assigned in February 1984. The company moved into a purpose-built, 2,800 m² (30,000 sq ft) factory at W. K. Kellogg Airport, Battle Creek, in April 2000; 90th aircraft handed over at official opening of factory on 20 May 2000; 100th followed in 2002. Now company called the WACO Aircraft Corporation.
