Voyager Aircraft Inc. formed March 1981 by Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager at Mojave Airport, CA, to produce aeroplane to fly non-stop round world near equator. Designed by Bert Rutan and built at Rutan Aircraft Factory, Voyager flew 22 June 1984 and flew round world 14-23 December 1986, 26,678 miles (42,925 km), 975 Imp. gal.
