PILGRIM

Short-lived Pilgrim Manufacturing gave name to several high-wing transports 1927-8, biggest a 10-seater which became Fairchild F-100 in 1929. After Avco takeover this came briefly under American Airplane & Engine Corp., occupying previous Fairchild plant on Long Island, which also developed fast low-wing American Pilgrim 150, designed by Clark. This in turn became Clark GA-43: see General Aviation.
