MDC, McDonnell Douglas Corp., formed 28 April 1967. Some 115,000 employees in McDonnell Aircraft, Douglas Aircraft, MDHC, MD Missile Systems and MD Space Systems. Cash-flow problems led to November 1991 MoU with Taiwan Aerospace to form joint company Douglas Global; this replaced May 1992 by Taiwan proposal to take debenture shares in Douglas, launch MD-12 and build fuselage and wing at new plant and purchase 20, not signed 1993.
