MDC, McDonnell Douglas Corp., formed 28 April 1967. The corporation's headquarters were at St. Louis Lambert International Airport, near St. Louis, Missouri. Some 115,000 was employed in McDonnell Aircraft, Douglas Aircraft, MDHC, MD Missile Systems and MD Space Systems. Cash-flow problems led to November 1991 MoU with Taiwan Aerospace to form joint company Douglas Global; this replaced May 1992 by Taiwan proposal to take debenture shares in Douglas, launch MD-12 and build fuselage and wing at new plant and purchase 20, not signed 1993. McDonnell Douglas Corp. merger with Boeing in 1997.
