Originally Ryan Airlines, formed San Diego 1922, which in 1926 produced M-1 mailplane from which was derived Lindbergh’s NYP. St Louis funding of NYP resulted in move to that city and formation there of B.F. Mahoney Aircraft Co. 1928, subsequently building Brougham. Merged into giant Detroit Aircraft 24 May 1929. See Ryan.
