AUC

AMERICAN UTILICRAFT CORPORATION

Company formed August 1990 to design and produce Freight Feeder cargo transport. Production will be undertaken at Gwinnett County, Atlanta, Georgia.
US$50 million of financing secured during June 2001 but economic slowdown in late 2001 affected progress with construction of prototype Freight Feeder; however on 25 June 2002 AUC signed an MoU with Averitt Express for lease of capacity of first 25 aircraft, and announced a more aggressive merger and acquisition strategy. In March 2003, AUC announced the formation of a new division in conjunction with Averitt, AUC X-press, offering air cargo services with a fleet of Cessna 404 and Beechcraft 1900 aircraft, which will be supplemented by the FF-1080 in due course.
In Jule 2003, AUC signed a further MoU, this time with Alpine Air Express, for development of the FF-1080.
