Moulton B. Taylor doggedly pursued his dream of a roadable aeroplane – in other words, a flying car – from 1948. Work continued until the late 1960s, when changing legislation made Taylor's designs impractical. Meanwhile, Mr Taylor has achieved great success with various homebuilt designs. See also Mini-IMP.
