Taiwan Aerospace Corp. established 27 September 1991 as basis for large aerospace industry including engines and avionics. Giant deal with McDonnell Douglas was replaced by 50% share in BAe Regional Aircraft, with production of RJ family in Taiwan and joint development of new versions.
