THULIN

In 1914 Dr Enoch Thulin acquired control of AVIS, renaming it AB Enoch Thulins Aeroplanfabrik. Became principal producer of aero engines, plus licensed Blériot, Morane-Saulnier and Albatros types. Own-design FA 2-seater built as land- and seaplane for Swedish Army and Navy. Type K (Blériot-derived) was fighter, 12 sold to Netherlands 1919, in which year Thulin killed in crash. TV (Thulinverken) was non-aviation company.
