TOMASHYEVICH

Dmitri Lyudvigovich Tomashyevich worked for Kalinin and Polikarpov (deputy chief on I-180). Arrested late 1938, but in October 1941 assigned to run semi-free GAZ-266 (Omsk, Siberia). Here produced "110", conventional 379-mph (610 km/h) fighter/bomber (December 1942), but no productive capacity. Turned to problem of armoured close-support and anti-armour, several prototypes of Pegas flown 1942-3.
