Pietr Dmitriyevich Samsonov worked at Shchyetinin, later joint head of manufacturing at OMOS. Two principal designs: MBR-5 monoplane amphibian (August 1935), failed to replace Beriev MBR-2; MDR-7 stressed-skin flying-boat, 2 x M-88 engines (25 July 1940), no production.
