Joint-venture company set up in Moscow 1991 by several former Soviet design bureaux (including A.I. Mikoyan and Klimov Corp.), with 33.3% interest held by Marvol Projekt Consulting of Germany. RusJet immediately formed partnership with General Technologies (Russia) and AeroSud (S. Africa) and, with Marvol, paid Mikoyan OKB to design first joint project, LCPT (light cargo/passenger transport), twin turboprop. Two prototypes (1996) funded.
