Junkers obtained concession from infant Soviet government, with civil war still raging 1923, to open design office and production factory in former RBVZ buildings at Fili north of Moscow. Arrangement to mutual advantage. Main types: Ju 20, based on A 20 (Soviet military R-2), Ju 21 (H 21) recon, Ju 13 (F13), PS-4 (W33) and JuG-1 (G24, Soviet military designations R-42, 42M and 42T). Junkers moved out 1 March 1927, factory becoming GAZ-22.
