Pavel Ignatyevich Grokhovskii formed design collective 1931 in Leningrad. Built succession of aircraft and pioneered air-drop of heavy loads. Six 1934 aircraft included rubberized-fabric inflatable Naduvatsya, tailless 35°-swept Kukuracha light aircraft and G-37 universal flying wing with 2 x 680-hp M-17 engines, twin booms and payload carried in detachable pod. G-38 twin-engined fighter/bomber was being built when team abruptly shut down December 1936.
