Formerly Bureau of Science, began 1952 to investigate possibility of aircraft manufacture in Philippine Republic, especially using local materials. XL-14 Maya high-wing 3-seater flew 1954, XL-15 Tagak utility aircraft 1955 and L-17 low-wing 2-seater 1957, all of wood construction.
