TYPE: Four-seat lightplane.

PROGRAMME: Four-year initial development phase began 21 August 1999 and ended 12 July 2003. Co-development by KARI and ultralight manufacturer Sung Jun Motoravia; latter seeking a US manufacturing partner in 2003. First flight targeted for second quarter 2004; flight testing for FAR Pt 23 certification will take place in USA.

DESIGN FEATURES: Wholly indigenous design. Fuselage similar to that of Firefly; forward-swept wings, with W leading-edge and turned-down tips; double-T tail unit.

FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual; flaps fitted.

STRUCTURE: Composites construction.

POWER PLANT: One 186 kW (250 hp) piston engine.

ACCOMMODATION: Pilot and three passengers, in tandem pairs.
