Sergio Stefanutti (see SCA) designed and built several canard (tail-first) designs: SS.1 light aircraft (1934), SS.2 (1935) and SS.3 Amitra (2 October 1937). These led to SS.4 fighter of 1939. See also SAI Ambrosini; Stelux.
