ROMEO

Società Anonima Industrie Aeronautiche Romeo formed 1934 at Naples to take over activities of Officine Ferroviarie Meridionali, which thereupon abandoned aircraft construction. Chief types 1935-41 included Ro 26 biplane trainer, Ro 30 army-cooperation/recon biplane, Ro 37 2-seat fighter/recon biplane, Ro 41 biplane fighter and Ro 43 centre-float seaplane.
