TYPE: Attack fighter.

PROGRAMME: Aircraft, and any news of progress, were absent from Iranian air show in November 2002. Reported in late 2003 that AIO had announced plans during that year to begin low-rate series production of up to 30, but aircraft again absent from second Iranian air show in January 2005. No evidence at that time that any more than six prototypes, at most, had been completed, and programme now generally believed to have been abandoned.
