Helicopter divisions of Aérospatiale and MBB (now DASA) formed Eurocopter SA 16 January 1992 as holding company, HQ La Courneuve, Paris. Manufacturing arms are Eurocopter France, HQ Marignane, Marseilles, and Eurocopter Deutschland, HQ Munich. Tiger/Tigre/Gerfaut programme has own management: Eurocopter Tiger GmbH, Munich. All marketing by Eurocopter International, La Courneuve. American Eurocopter Corp., Grand Prairie, TX, handles assembly, modification and support. Eurocopter Canada is subsidiary at Fort Erie marketing BO 105, exclusively making 105LS and sharing in new EC 155. Programmes include all existing Aérospatiale and MBB helicopters plus NH90 and Eurofar, BK 117 (with Kawasaki), EC 150 (with CATIC and SA) and EC 120 Ibis (with Kamov). December 1992 agreement with Mil/Kazan/Klimov provides for design of Mi-38 cockpit, avionics and interior and management of export marketing.
