PROGRAMME: Military version of 330; production began 7 September 1982.

CUSTOMERS: Royal Thai Army received two and Royal Thai Border Police two 1984-85; latter now also operates one Army aircraft.

DESIGN FEATURES: Basic airframe and power plant of 330 unchanged; max payload increased to 3,630 kg (8,000 lb); max operational necessity T-O weight 11,158 kg (24,600 lb); strengthened cabin floor; reconfigured avionics panel.

ACCOMMODATION: Up to 33 troops, 30 paratroops plus jumpmaster (exit via inward opening rear door each side), or 15 stretchers plus four seated personnel.
