WARRIOR (AERO-MARINE) LTD

Company created in 1995 to develop and market Centaur six-seat amphibian; US subsidiary formed in January 2000 to promote aircraft in North American market. Funding acquired by March 2002 from private investors (more than US$3 million), Maine Technology Institute (US$500,000) and UK Department of Trade and Industry (£450,000/US$640,000); further US$2 million then said to be required for marketing and 2004 US demonstration tour. First flight postponed 12 months from original estimate.
