TYPE: Two-seat lightplane.
PROGRAMME: Design started 1996; construction of prototype began January 1998; first flight scheduled for 2000, but by mid-2001 only empennage had been completed and wings were under construction. Assembly undertaken at Creil aerodrome.
DESIGN FEATURES: Low wing; swept fin and rudder. Wing section NACA NLF 0215F. Drawings prepared by Autocad and CATIA.
STRUCTURE: All-wood airframe structure with glass fibre skin.
LANDING GEAR: Retractable tricycle type.
POWER PLANT: One 119 kW (160 hp) Textron Lycoming IO-320-B1E, driving an Evra propeller in prototype, with future provision for SMA MR 200 of 149 kW (200 hp). Fuel in two tanks, combined capacity 140 litres (37.0 US gallons; 30.8 Imp gallons).
ACCOMMODATION: Two persons, side by side, under bubble canopy.
