HUREL-DUBOIS

Avions Hurel-Dubois formed 1948 at rue Chappe, Paris, to develop Maurice Hurel’s belief in wings of very high aspect ratio. H.D.10 research aircraft with aspect ratio 30 built by Pierre Levasseur, flown 1948. Company grew with government support for H.D.31 (2 x Cyclone) and 32 (2 x Twin Wasp) transports, respectively flown 1953 and 1955. Eight H.D.34 photo survey aircraft delivered to IGN 1957-9.
