BUGATTI

Famed for cars and engines, Ettore Bugatti’s company built at La Ferté Alais (but probably did not fly) 100P and 110P racers, 1933-4, each with 2 450-hp engines (not a single Bugatti twin-block King) driving nose contraprops, with canopy between spinner and engines; wing normally slight forward sweep, but pivoted to sweep slightly to rear in flight.
