Pioneer aviator J.C.H. Ellehammer built monoplane 1905-6, added upper wing and achieved tethered flight round circular track 16 August 1906. Then built triplane (first flight in Germany 28 June 1908) and twin-rotor helicopter with cyclic pitch control (1912).
