TYPE: Side-by-side ultralight/kitbuilt.

PROGRAMME: Announced at Aero '01 at Friedrichshafen April 2001; first flight of prototype (D-MPMM) then expected within two months but not achieved until 16 February 2002.

COSTS: Factory-built €91,600 including tax (2003).

DESIGN FEATURES: Utilises wings. Fowler flaps and tail surfaces of D4 Fascination. 'Glass cockpit'. Wings and tail surfaces detach for storage and transportation.

FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual. Dual controls standard. Fowler flaps.

STRUCTURE: Primarily composites, with metal landing gear doors.

LANDING GEAR: Retractable tricycle type. All three units retract rearwards, with main legs housed within lower fuselage.

POWER PLANT: One 59.6 kW (79.9 hp) Rotax 912 UL driving Rospeller three-blade constant-speed propeller via 1:2.27 reduction gearing, or 73.5 kW (98.6 hp) Rotax 912 ULS driving same propeller via 1:1.43 reduction gearing. Fuel capacity 120 litres (31.7 US gallons; 26.4 Imp gallons).

EQUIPMENT: Ballistic parachute recovery system optional.
