Scheibe has produced hundreds of gliders since it was founded in 1951 by the late Dipl Ing Egon Scheibe. Current motor glider production comprises the steel tube and wood SF 25C Falke and Rotax Falke. Its 2,000 m² (21.528 sq ft) factory had a workforce of 19 in late 2002.
