August Euler, pioneer aviator, bought Voisin licence 1910 and founded Euler-Werke at Niederrad, Frankfurt-am-Main. Produced 27 prototypes including biplanes, triplanes and a quadruplane, with small runs of types based on LVG and Nieuport. After Armistice ceased manufacture, founder appointed Sec. of State for Air.
