TYPE: Single-seat ultralight.
PROGRAMME: Prototype (OK-KUG 32) first flew 3 April 2005; public debut at Aero '05, Friedrichshafen, 21 to 24 April 2005.
DESIGN FEATURES: Single-seat derivative of ATEC 321 Faeta, incorporating wing of company's Faeta. Wing section SM 701.
FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual. Elevator and aileron actuation by pushrods; rudder by cables. Electric trim tab in elevator. Three-position, electrically-actuated, slotted flaps.
STRUCTURE: Tubular steel cockpit cage; carbon composites fuselage, reinforced with carbon bars and sandwich bulkheads. Integral empennage of carbon fibre with Nomex honeycomb. Wings constructed around laminated beech spar and carbon sandwich covering; carbon fibre ailerons.
LANDING GEAR: Tailwheel type; fixed. Fuselage-mounted, spring composites cantilever mainwheel legs with wheel fairings, 350x120 wheels and hydraulic disc brakes. Solid tailwheel.
POWER PLANT: One 48.0 kW (64.4 hp) Rotax 582 DCDI two-cylinder, liquid-cooled two-stroke. Fiti ground-adjustable pitch, two-blade propeller. Fuel tank beneath pilot, capacity 50 litres (13.2 US gallons; 11,0 Imp gallons).
