DESIGN FEATURES: Single-bay biplane of classic appearance; stressed for aerobatic manoeuvres where national regulations allow.
Constant-chord wings with rounded tips; rounded fin and elevator tips. Open cockpits. Wings braced by streamlined. N-type interplane struts and wires; upper wing on central cabane. Empennage braced by steel struts and wires.
Wing sections NACA 63A415 (upper) and NACA 2412 (lower).
FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual. Interconnected ailerons on upper and lower wings. Aileron and elevator actuation by pushrods; rudder by cables.
STRUCTURE: Glass fibre fuselage; wings of conventional ribs and spars with fabric covering.
LANDING GEAR: Tailwheel type; fixed. Fuselage-mounted, spring cantilever mainwheel legs and steerable tailwheel. Hydraulic mainwheel brakes.
POWER PLANT: One 59.7 to 89.5 kW (80 to 120 hp) piston engine driving a two-blade propeller. Fuel capacity 50 litres (13.2 US gallons; 11.0 Imp gallons).
