CURRENT VERSIONS: UL-2000 S Flamingo Sport: Baseline version, with 48.5 kW (65 hp) Hirth 2706 engine and two-blade fixed-pitch propeller.
UL-2000 T Flamingo Trainer: As Sport, but with 74.6 kW (100 hp) Hirth F30 and two-blade ground-adjustable pitch propeller, GPS navigation; dual controls.
UL-2000 A Flamingo Aerobatic: As Trainer except for 82.0 kW (110 hp) Hirth and three-blade ground-adjustable propeller; or 73.5 kW (98.6 hp) Rotax 912 ULS or 84.6 kW (113.4 hp) Rotax 914. Export-only version.
UL-2000 B Business Flamingo: Generally similar to Trainer, but without dual controls.
UL-2000 D Flamingo De Luxe: Customised version, with modified 74.6 kW (100 hp) engine.

DESIGN FEATURES: Unbraced high-wing cabin monoplane with sweptback vertical tail. Wings detach for transportation and storage.

FLYING CONTROLS: Manual. Non-balanced rudder; large one-piece elevator with inset, in-flight-adjustable trim tab. Flaps.

STRUCTURE: All-composites.

LANDING GEAR: Tricycle type; fixed. Composites cantilever self-sprung main legs with 400x100 tyres and cable brakes; nosewheel tyre 12x4.

POWER PLANT: See Current Versions above. Fuel capacity 45 litres (11.9 US gallons; 9.9 Imp gallons) in UL-2000 S, T, A and D; 60 litres (15.9 US gallons; 13.2 Imp gallons) in B.

ACCOMMODATION: Upward-opening window/door each side; hatshelf behind seats.

SYSTEMS: 12 V electrical system.
