The prototype Colibri 2 flew for the first time on 1 May 1970. Plans are available, and about 260 Colibri 2s are under construction or flying in Europe.

POWER PLANT: One 30 kW (40 hp) 1,600 cc Volkswagen engine (Brügger modification). Fuel capacity 33 litres (8.7 US gallons; 7.25 Imp gallons).
