TYPE: Tandem-seat ultralight/kitbuilt; side-by-side ultralight/kitbuilt.
PROGRAMME: Introduced to HB range in 2002 as modular range, based on Let-Mont UL series of Piper Cub lookalikes produced in Czech Republic. Differences include the following (see Current Versions).
CURRENT VERSIONS: Amigo: Side-by-side version of modern appearance, with nosewheel, short-span wings, square-topped fin and cut-down rear decking. Option of increased engine power. Shown at Aero '03, Friedrichshafen, 24-27 April 2003.
Cubby: Tandem-seat, tailwheel layout, most resembling classic J3 Cub.
Dandy: As Cubby, but side-by-side seating.
FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual. All models have plain flaps and flight-adjustable trimmer in each elevator.
STRUCTURE: Amigo has metal tube, fabric-covered lower fuselage and strut-braced wings, latter with composites tips and leading edge; metal fin fillet, braced tailplane. Cubby and Dandy have metal tube fuselage with fabric covering aft of cabin and metal sheet forward, fabric-covered wooden wings.
LANDING GEAR: Amigo: Nosewheel type; fixed. 4.00-6 mainwheels with cable-operated drum brakes; 4.00-4 nosewheel. Tail bumper.
Cubby/Dandy: Tailwheel type; fixed. 15x6.00-6 mainwheels and solid tailwheel.
POWER PLANT: One 59.6 kW (79.9 hp) Rotax 912 UL with two-blade propeller standard. Amigo option of 73.5 kW (98.6 hp) Rotax 912 ULS and two-blade AirPlast variable-pitch propeller. Fuel capacity 60 litres (15.8 US gallons; 13.2 Imp gallons) in all versions.
EQUIPMENT: Amigo has optional ballistic parachute.
