TYPE: Light utility turboprop

PROGRAMME: Announced 2003. Version of Britten-Norman Trislander powered by a single 746 kW (1,000 hp) Honeywell TPE331 turboprop in the tail position; centre of gravity maintained by 76 cm (30 in) extension to forward fuselage, increasing seating capacity to 20 including pilot (s). Design advantages include ability to keep engine running while reloading and refuelling. Received 20 expressions of interest by May 2003; estimated cost US$1.5 million. Integrity owns 12 uncompleted Trislander kits which would be used as prototypes and to launch production. Further demand would be met by new production at Romaero in Romania. Type certification to be undertaken in UK; design patent pending in USA.
