TYPE: Agricultural sprayer.
PROGRAMME: Design begun in 1999 and completed by March 2002; construction of prototype then begun; public debut was then planned for August 2003 Moscow Salon but was rescheduled for the first half of 2004.
DESIGN FEATURES: Economic sprayer, with same payload as Sukhoi Su-38L, but at half purchase price. Raised cockpit with good forward/downward view. Constant-chord, low-mounted, cantilever wings; sweptback tail surfaces with mutual wire bracing; narrow, deep fuselage.
FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual. No horn balances.
LANDING GEAR: Tailwheel type; fixed.
POWER PLANT: One 154 kW (207 hp) LOM M337A six-cylinder piston engine operating on A-76 motorcar fuel.
ACCOMMODATION: Pilot only, in enclosed cockpit.
EQUIPMENT: Chemical hopper; eight rotary atomisers beneath wings.
