KOMPANIYA VITEK (Vitek Company)

Vitek ia s building materials company which also operates a light aviation division under the title OAO Istrin Experimental Mechanical Plant. Promotion continues of the Ovod lightplane, although only two have been built: cost is US$25,000 (2002). In March 2002, the company announced that it had completed design of its Ezhik agricultural aircraft. A three-seat lightplane and four/six-seat amphibian are also being designed.
Company has 3.500 m² (37,675 sq ft) manufacturing facility in Moscow suburb of Istrinsky, capable of producing 30 lightplanes per year. It is Russian agent for the Canadian Safari kitbuilt helicopter.
