Moscow Institute of Electrical Engineering and Automation (MIEA) is a leading instrument-making enterprise and the head organisation of the Aviapribor-Holding company.
All types of airliners and transport aircraft built in Russia and the CIS have equipment developed by the institute. Capitalising on the skilled personnel and own manufacturing capabilities, the institute ensures a complete cycle of work, including research, development, tests, production and after-sales maintenance of a wide range of its products. Where aviation is concerned, the institute majors in integration of avionics, navigation computing systems, aut matic control systems, aircraft handling systems, strapdown, platform, and guided inertial navigation systems, and initial information sensors.
