MOTOR SCIENTIFIC-PRODUCTION ENTERPRISE
Scientific-production enterprise MOTOR was formed in 1955. The direction of its activity is the development and modernization of aviation engines and their units for fighters and attack aircrafts. There has been developed 70 types of engines, 21 of them were in serial production, including:
- Engines of R13, R25-300 family for different modifications of the most massproduced MiG-21 fighter and Su-15 aircraft;
- Fan of RD-33 engine for MiG-29 aircraft;
- R95Sch and R195 engines for Su-25 attack aircraft.
At present it has been carried out modernization of R25-300 and R95Sh engines, rising the efficiency of MiG-21 BIS and Su-25 aircraft.
For perspective engines there are being carried out the developments, using composites, high-pressure low stage compressors, high temperature combustion chambers, multifunctional planar exhaust nozzles.
