CHERNYSHEV MOSCOW MACHINE-BUILDING ENTERPRISE
The Chernyshev Moscow Machine-Building Enterprise, founded in 1932, is now one of the leading aero-engine manufacturers in Russia. Engines of its manufacture are in service in more than 40 states of the world. Current production includes three modifications of the RD-33 jet engine for different modifications of the MiG-29 fighter and the TV7-117S turboprop engine for the Ilyushin-114 regional airliner. Short-term plans include the start of serial production of the RD-33N engine for fighters and the RD-1700 engine for jet trainers. The Enterprise provides technical support and overhaul of its engines, including those production of which has been discontinued (R27F2M-300, R29-300, R-35 for the MiG-23 fighters). The Chernyshev Moscow Machine-Building Enterprise has got a good experience in organizing license manufacture and overhaul of its engines abroad.
