DESIGN FEATURES: Low-wing motor glider with retractable landing gear and retractable propeller behind forward-sliding nosecone. Constant-chord inboard wing; outer panels with curved taper on leading- and trailing-edges. Constant-chord tailplane at base of sweptback fin. JAR 22 conformal.
Wing section FX66-17AII-182/26 at root; FX60-126.1/26 at tip.

FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual. Two-section ailerons extend over tapered and constant-chord sections. Flaps, max deflection 35°. Schempp-Hirth airbrakes.

STRUCTURE: Composites throughout.

LANDING GEAR: Monowheel type; retractable, including outriggers at one-third span. Semi-buried tailwheel, mainwheel size 5.00-5; outriggers 125x45.

POWER PLANT: One 48.0 kW (64.5 hp) Rotax 582 piston engine driving a 1.68 m (5 ft 6¼ in) diameter two-blade Protoplane wood and glass fibre folding propeller via a belt reduction system. Fuel capacity 70 litres (18.5 US gallons; 15.4 Imp gallons).

ACCOMMODATION: Two persons, side by side, beneath single piece, forward-hinged canopy.

EQUIPMENT: Provision for surveillance sensors.
