HB FLUGTECHNIK

HB FLUGTECHNIK GmbH

Company name indicates Heino Brditschka, designer of motor gliders, including the HB 23 and HB 202. Both had the unconventional mid-fuselage propeller, to which HB Flugtechnik has returned for some of its recent projects.
From its 2,400 m² (25,830 sq ft) factory, HB provides a wide variety of other aviation services, including overhaul and repair, aerial photography and advertising, flying training, aircraft charter and support of amateur constructors. In 1998, distribution of HB 207 kits was assigned to Aero-Service Thuringen of Erfurt, Germany, but this has now ceased.
In 2002, HB announced that it is working on more projects, including the HB 401 high-wing pusher; HB 402 high-wing design resembling Cessna 172; and HB 403, based around the company's Alfa.
The company also markets the Amigo, Cubby and Dandy ultralights produced by Let-Mont in the Czech Republic.
